K-ras gene mutation in the diagnosis of ultrasound guided fine-needle biopsy of pancreatic masses

摘要: Abstract AIM: To investigate the utility of K-ras mutation analysis ofultrasound guided fine-needle aspirate biopsy pancreaticmasses. METHODS: Sixty-six ultrasound biopsieswere evaluated by cytology, histology and k-ras mutation.The at codon 12 oncogene wasdetected artificial restriction fragment lengthpolymorphisms using Bst NI approach. RESULTS: The presence malignant cells was reported in40 54 pancreatic carcinomas mutations weredetected in 45 FNABs carcinomas. Thesensitivity cytology were 74 % 83%, respectively. speciality mutationwere both 100 %. sensitivity mutationcombined with 83 %, CONCLUSION: High diagnostic accuracy acceptablediscomfort FNAB make it useful diagnosis pancreaticcarcinoma. Ultrasound is a safeand feasible method for diagnosing cancer.Pancreatic carcinoma has highest rateamong all solid tumors. rate about80-100 usage k-rasoncogene combined good alternative forevaluation masses.Zheng M, Liu LX, Zhu AL, Qi SY, Jiang HC, Xiao ZY. genemutation biopsyof masses.
