摘要: The aim of the present study was to set up and evaluate a novel method for studies platelet adhesion activation in blood suspensions such as concentrate (PC) samples using protein-coated polystyrene beads flow cytometry. To demonstrate its usefulness, we studied PCs during storage. were prepared by aphaeresis technique (n = 7). Metabolic variables function measured on day 1, 5, 7 12 Spontaneous TRAP-6-induced fibrinogen- collagen-coated analyzed P-selectin phosphatidyl serine (PS) expression assessed platelets bound well non-adherent platelets. Platelet fibrinogen had increased collagen at storage (p < 0.05). TRAP-6 stimulation significantly 0.05) PS exposure 0.01) first days storage, but 12, significant changes no longer induced stimulation. We that our assay can be used assess properties without addition red cells. Therefore it may offer useful tool future adhesive capacity transfusion medicine other settings.
