摘要: Platelet receptor GPVI plays an important role in platelet firm adhesion to site of vascular injury. Receptor ligation with collagen, company other agonist/receptor interactions, augments inside out signaling pathways leading aggregation and thrombus formation. As expression is significantly modulated by ectodomain shedding, this study aimed examine whether shedding functionally affects collagen-mediated activation during storage. 6 PRP-platelet concentrates were subjected analysis on collagen matrix under mild stirring condition as well collagen-induced day 1, 3 5 post-storage. Concurrently, supernatants same samples fractionated ultra-centrifugation obtained micro-particle-free western blot for the evaluation shedding. We showed a direct correlation between collagen-dependent (r = 0.8, p = 0.0001). The increasing levels storage reverse (r = − 0.82, p = 0.0004) which was reducing decreased post-storage while it also reversely correlated days platelets (r = − 0.69, p = 0.002). Data presented here demonstrated that progressive surface can affect its functional activities stored platelets. Thereby considering crucial injury, therapeutic efficacy banked products could be influenced storage-dependent receptor, remains answered future studies.
