摘要: The mammalian cerebral cortex contains a high variety of neuronal subtypes that acquire precise spatial locations and form long or short-range connections to establish functional circuits. During embryonic development, cortical projection neurons are generated in the areas lining lateral ventricles they subsequently undergo radial migration reach position their final maturation within plate. control neuroblast migratory behavior coordination process with other neurogenic events such as cell cycle exit, differentiation crucial normal brain development. Among key regulators neuron migration, small GTP binding proteins Rho family atypical Rnd members play important roles integrating intracellular signaling pathways into changes cytoskeletal dynamics motility behavior. Here we review role during discuss both upstream mechanisms regulate protein activity downstream molecular mediate effects on cytoskeleton.
