摘要: Microwave imaging is the technique to identify hidden objects from structures using electromagnetic waves that can be applied in medical diagnosis. The change of dielectric property detected microwave antenna sensor, which lead localization abnormality human body. This paper presents a stacked type modified Planar Inverted F Antenna (PIFA) as sensor. Design and performance analysis sensor along with computational experimental concealed object has been investigated this study. dimension PIFA radiating patch 40 × 20 10 mm³. reflector walls used, are 45 mm length 0.2-mm-thick inexpensive copper sheet considered for simulation fabrication addresses problems high expenses conventional antenna. proposed operates at 1.55⁻1.68 GHz where maximum realized gain 4.5 dB consistent unidirectional radiation characteristics. used tumor tissue phantom based on reflection transmission coefficient. Finally, an experiment performed verify antenna's potentiality detecting realistic breast phantom.
