Beneficial effect of tamoxifen on sperm recovery in infertile men with nonobstructive azoospermia.

摘要: About 10% of infertile men have azoospermia. After the introduction microinjection [intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI)], many these obtain chance to be a father. But still in cases nonobstructive azoospermia, we are not able find spermatozoa for ICSI. Medications may increase finding testis samples. So this study, evaluated effect tamoxifen citrate on results recovery from tissue with Thirty-two azoospermic proved azoospermia were selected. Tamoxifen was administered 3 months. Semen samples and second biopsy taken, compared first According samples, 13 patients had hypospermatogenesis, 9 maturation arrest 10 sertoli cell syndrome. treatment, six showed their ejaculates. From other all hypospermatogenesis group, 75% group 20% Our study that treatment anti-oestrogenic drugs like can improve also pregnancy by microinjection.
