摘要: Background We sought to identify factors favoring long-term restoration of sinus rhythm (SR) in patients with atrial fibrillation (AF) who underwent a simple cryoablation pulmonary vein orifices (PV-cryo) as part their cardiac surgery. Methods and Results Of 101 AF undergoing PV-cryo, the 71 SR at discharge were grouped according whether they maintained or lost (group SR, n=61, group AF, n=10) after an average 2.3 years. Atrial present (n=30) persisted during follow up. Comparisons made preoperative predictive factors, including transthoracic transesophageal echocardiographic parameters. discharged from hospital 92% (46 50) those duration 3 years less (23 25) left dimension 50 mm less, 93% (37 40) peak appendage outflow velocities (LAA-V) least 30 cm/s. 25 had no paroxysmal did not require antiarrhythmic drugs, all LAA-V over 20 Patients under 40 Conclusions Left was best predictor PV-cryo.
