摘要: Objectives The aim of the present study was to assess thiol/disulfide (SS) homeostasis as a novel indicator oxidative stress in patients with obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) and investigate effect continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP) therapy on parameters. Study Design Prospective clinical study. Methods A total 104 subjects, 44 an OSA group 60 two control groups (control simple snoring group, group) were included. The levels parameters measured using Erel Neselioglu method moderate or severe before after CPAP therapy. Results The serum native thiol (SH) SH well %SH/total ratio significantly lower (P < 0.05) compared controls, SS level %SS/SH %SS/total ratios higher 0.05). After therapy, than Significant negative correlations evident between apnea/hypopnea index (AHI) therapy; significant seen AHI but not level. Conclusion We found that increased had OSA.
