摘要: Tanshinones, the major lipid-soluble pharmacological constituents of Chinese medicinal herb Tanshen (Salvia miltiorrhiza), have attracted growing scientific attention because prospective biomedical applications these compounds. Numerous activities, including anti-inflammatory, anticancer, and cardio-cerebrovascular protection are exhibited by three primary bioactive among tanshinones, ie, tanshinone I (TNI), IIA (TNIIA), cryptotanshinone (CPT). However, due to their poor solubility low dissolution rate, clinical TNI, TNIIA, CPT limited. To solve problems, many studies focused on loading tanshinones into liposomes, nanoparticles, microemulsions, cyclodextrin inclusions, solid dispersions, so on. In this review, we aim offer an updated summary biological activities drug delivery systems provide a reference for in applications.
