摘要: This paper presents results from two sets of laboratory experiments at different scales that demonstrate a strong influence beach scraping on sediment transport within the surf zone. For erosive conditions, reshaping upper was found to prevent further migration offshore bar and reduce across whole recovery tests, where breaker initially stable in control induced rapid onshore bar. Thus, tended either stabilize or enhance over A detailed investigation hydrodynamics swash zones showed this effect by more dissipative zone reducing concentrations wave backwash The importance influencing overall morphodynamics. Improving predictions both erosion, accretion behaviour therefore require inclusion numerical models.
