摘要: To overcome the limitations of magnetic resonance (MR) cardiac imaging using nongated data acquisition, three methods for acquiring a gating signal, which could be applied in presence field, were tested: an air-filled plethysmograph, laser-Doppler capillary perfusion flowmeter, and electrocardiographic device. The signal was used timing MR sequences (IS). Application each method yielded significant improvements structural image resolution beating heart, although with both plethysmography velocimetry it difficult to obtain images from early portion cycle due intrinsic delay between ECG R wave peripheral detection signal. Variations temporal relationship plethysmographic signals produced inconsistencies IS. Since is virtually free these problems, preferable technique IS synchronization electrocardiogram. gated acquired this provide sharp definition internal morphology can temporarily referenced end diastole systole or intermediate points.
