摘要: Before the mammalian embryo is ready to implant in uterine wall, single cell zygote must divide and differentiate into three distinct tissues; trophectoderm (prospective placenta), primitive endoderm yolk sac), pluripotent epiblast cells which will form proper. In this review I discuss our current understanding of how positional information, polarization, signaling pathways, transcription factor networks converge drive regulate progressive segregation first types mouse embryo.
