摘要: We have characterized two related regions of twoPetunia mitochondrial genomes in order to understand how plant mt from a cytoplasmic male sterile (cms) line and fertile diverge one another. Restriction maps these indicate that sequence arrangement shared by the adjoins sequences which are not at corresponding locations genomes. A point where cms lines each other was identified mapped.Previously we had observed somatic hybrids constructed contained carrying new combinations parental mtDNA restriction fragments (3). Using regions, unique parent could be shown present all 17 stable tested none 24 tested. This data does exclude possibility additional, as yet unidentified, arrangements might also found exclusively hybrids. Whether or reported here is functionally cms, it apparently segregates with
