摘要: The application of improved organelle or DNA isolation procedures and recombinant technologies has led us to a more detailed understanding higher plant mitochondrial genomes in the last decade. Mitochondrial plants are much larger size than those yeasts, fungi, animals, variable, ranging from about 200 kb Brassica Oenothera 2400 muskmelon (Ward et al. 1981; Leaver Gray 1982; Levings 1983). Notwithstanding DNA’s (mtDNA’s), number genes thought be similar compared with other eukaryotes (Dawson 1986; EcKenrode 1986). some characterized so far, however, contain direct repeat elements. Intramolecular recombinations through repeats appear produce complex structure mtDNA’s (Palmer Shields 1984; Pring Lonsdale 1985; Quetier 1985).
