摘要: The extent of syntrophic acetate oxidation (SAO) and the levels known SAO bacteria acetate- hydrogen-consuming methanogens were determined in sludge from 13 commercial biogas production plants. Results these measurements statistically related to prevailing operating conditions, through partial least squares (PLS) analysis. This revealed that high abundance microorganisms involved was positively correlated with relatively low aceticlastic concentrations free ammonia (>160 mg/L) volatile fatty acids (VFA). Temperature identified as another influencing factor for population structure oxidising (SAOB). Overall, there a SAOB different digesters despite differences their parameters, indicating are an enduring important component biogas-producing consortia.
