Oral Health Knowledge, Attitude, and Practices Among Dental and Medical Students in Eastern India - A Comparative Study

摘要: Objectives: To compare oral health knowledge, attitude, and practices among dental medical students in a Health care centre at Bhubaneswar, Odisha, India. Materials Methods: One hundred fifty BDS MBBS each from Kalinga Institute of Dental Sciences Medical KIIT University, Bhubaneswar respectively, were invited to participate this survey using self-administered structured questionnaire English comprising 27 questions, which was designed evaluate the practices. The obtained data analyzed Statistical Package for Social version 20 software. Results: On comparison scores practice, mean knowledge score significantly higher than students. study also showed that female (both medical) had better male Karl Pearson's correlation coefficient test that, although attitude towards health, there lack adequate practice them. Conclusion: Further emphasis on is necessary undergraduate training improve as they will act role models education individuals community large.
