摘要: Abstract Human placenta possesses insulin receptors, yet whether affects uptake of substrate or other placental functions is still controversial. A potential problem in the study this issue degradation by tissue. We found to be rapid and temperature dependent. At 10 mU/ml 37° C, 40% became trichloroacetic acid soluble within 15 minutes. Degradation was decreased preincubation tissue, followed change medium addition 0.5% 2.0% bovine albumin. Receptor assay with isolated microvillous membrane, which bound characteristics known target tissues, demonstrated biologically active (5 6 mU/ml) persist under incubation conditions. The presence did not influence amino acids three neutral transport systems human placenta. Thus an essential fetal nutrient apparently independent fluctuations maternal dietary carbohydrate intake disease.
