摘要: Objective: This study examined physical activity and symptoms as correlates of functional limitations disability among individuals with multiple sclerosis (MS). The authors hypothesized that would be interrelated indirectly associated through a pathway involved limitations, whereas directly both disability. Methods: Individuals MS (N 133) who were recruited community organization wore an accelerometer for 7-day period completed paper-and-pencil survey containing the Godin Leisure-Time Exercise Questionnaire (G. & R. J. Shephard, 1985), Symptom Inventory (C. E. Schwartz, T. Vollmer, H. Lee, 1999), MS-Related Checklist (E. Gulick, 1989), abbreviated Late-Life Function Disability McAuley, F. Konopack, W. Motl, K. Rosengren, S. Morris, 2005). data analyzed using structural equation modeling in AMOS 6.0. Results: standardized coefficients indicated (a) negatively correlated ( .59); (b) those more physically active had better function .40); (c) fewer .46) less .29); (d) .63). Conclusion: Findings indicate is reduced consistent Z. Nagi’s disablement model MS.
