摘要: Aggressive andsexualbehaviourcanhamperanimal welfareinentire male pig production. The aim of the present study was to investigate if rearing entire pigs in sibling groups (in farrow-to-finish pens) could reduce aggressive and sexual behaviour thereby improve animal welfare Frequenciesofaggressiveandsexualbehaviouramongfinishingpigswererecordedinthreedifferentgroupsin one herd; FTF-group (entires + gilts, siblings), mix-group mixed) castrate-group (castrates siblings).Frequencies skin wounds were recorded this herd an additional (only mix-group) shortly before animals sent slaughter. Higher lesion scores accordancewith data.
