摘要: Ethanol (3 g/kg, given i.p. as a 33% w/v solution), was to adult Wistar rats 1 min after training in (1) 50-trial session of shuttle avoidance, using buzzers and shocks, (2) an inhibitory avoidance experience step-through apparatus. The animals were retested 7 days condition (1), 3 (2). There no difference retention scores between the ethanol-treated, saline-treated, or untreated animals. In addition, there evidence aversive effect ethanol per se under any two conditions, spite fact that dose used caused very profound ataxia, lethal for 14.3% (a slightly higher dose, 4 is about 80% our rats). These data do not favor hypothesis acute administration may influence memory consolidation.
