摘要: In this paper, we present a novel one-step, easy and cost-effective method for the synthesis of Ag-doped TiO2 sol deposition its compact thin films by spin coating technique. The effects dopant quantity (0–5% weight) on structural, morphological, optical electrical properties have been investigated reported. X-ray Diffraction (XRD) spectra revealed single anatase phase having no secondary phases. scanning electron microscopy (SEM) showed pinholes-free/compact composed spherical nanoparticles where particle size has demonstrated to decrease with increasing Ag doping. atomic force (AFM) confirmed smooth films, however, surface roughness tends grow quantity. fluorescence spectroscopy (XRF) presence mass percentage in relevant samples, which amount dopant. UV–Vis concluded bandgap reduction pure (3.38 eV) as doping reaches maximum value 5% (3.18 eV). Spectroscopic Ellipsometry employed determine thickness was found be range of ~ 100 nm, while measured through DC-Hall Effect It that conductivity improved from 5.74 × 10–2 2.72 × 10–1 Ω−1 cm−1 glass FTO-coated substrates, higher 1.51 × 104 achieved.
