摘要: We theoretically demonstrate that the thermopower in two-dimensional quantum wells (QWs) can be significantly enhanced by its Rashba spin-splitting effect, governed one-dimensional density of states low Fermi energy region. The enhancement is due to lower level for a given carrier concentration QWs, as compared with normal systems without effect. degenerate approximation directly shows larger strength effect leads higher and consequently better thermoelectric performance QWs.
