摘要: Abstract We have studied the distribution patterns of olfactory receptor cells that project to glomerular foci after HRP injections in different bulbar surfaces 15-day-old rats. label overlapped only 2–4 contiguous glomeruli and had a maximal extent 260 μm along antero-posterior (A-P) axis. were confined enough allow labeled individual be discerned epithelial sheet. Results shown neurons ending few given surface distributed most regions projecting this surface. Moreover, within these areas, largely dispersed both frontal A-P axes nose. When HRP-filled observed on turbinate or recess, their seemed organized according certain alignment nasal Our findings demonstrate for first time principal features regional organization epithelium projections are reproduced any focus surface, suggest it could same single glomerulus. Such principle projection supports concept large redundance anatomical relationship between periphery bulb.
