摘要: Increase in myofibrillar protein accretion can occur the very early post-exercise period and be potentiated by ingestion of essential amino acid (EAA). Furthermore, strength exercise induces important disturbances turnover, especially novice athletes. The purpose this investigation was to evaluate effects an EAA supplementation on muscle mass, architecture stages a heavy-load training programme. 29 young males trained during 12 weeks. They were divided into placebo (PLA) (n = 14) group 15). At baseline, daily food intake nitrogenous balance assessed with questionnaire over 7 days two 24-h urine collections. effect mass anthropometric techniques. Muscle thickness pennation angle recorded ultrasonography gastrocnemius medialis (GM). Maximal squat bench press exercises tested isokinetic ergometer. Training resulted significant increase both PLA groups. Positive linear regressions found between nitrogen (P < 0.01, r² 0.63) initial 0.05, 0.29). greater changes GM architecture. These data indicate that has positive hypertrophy such nutritional intervention seems more effective subject having lower and/or strength.
