摘要: Abstract Several asymmetric dithiocarbamates and dithiourethanes were synthesized their n → π* Cotton effects measured. A simple quadrant rule is given predicting the sign of these effects. This useful in solving stereochemical problems a manner analogous to octant for ketones.
