摘要: An increasing number of imaging techniques are in use to study the localization molecules involved cell-to-cell signaling. Here we describe immunogold procedures detect and quantify on electron micrographs. To measure areas subcellular compartments under investigation, protocol uses an overlay screen with array regularly spaced points. On basis this, densities gold-labeled can be calculated. Despite limited lateral resolution method as used by many investigators (∼30 nm), it is possible content associated tiny tissue compartments, e.g., synaptic vesicles different types membrane, such plasma membranes vesicle membranes. The quantification carried out without using computer programs. entire completed ∼15 d.
