摘要: To test the hypothesis that reduced food intake produced by opioid blockade is due to a reduction in pleasant aspects of tastes, 18 fasted male college students rated intensity and pleasantness soup contained various concentrations NaCl Kool-Aid sucrose at hourly intervals after ingesting either naltrexone (50 mg) or placebo double-blind study. Hunger, fullness, nausea, current mood state were also assessed. Lunch followed was recorded. After placebo, salted increased as lunchtime approached. naltrexone, however, remained unchanged across time. Similar changes obtained for perceived sweetness saltiness soup. Naltrexone blocked increases hunger ratings occurred time condition. Nausea higher naltrexone. subjects consumed approximately 500 kcal less lunch than placebo. Analysis covariance suggested decreased (but not nausea taste pleasantness) accounted naltrexone-induced intake.
