摘要: Abstract By analysing mRNAs with the polymerase chain reaction (PCR) and by studying in vitro generated mutants we have identified an intron genome of wheat dwarf virus (WDV), a geminivirus cereals. Polypeptides whose expression is essential for replication viral DNA been defined. They are encoded two distinct overlapping open reading frames (ORFs). The joining these ORFs deletion as well introduction frameshift mutation within do not prevent suspension culture cells. In contrast to WDV, geminiviruses dicotyledonous plants possess single continuous ORF, highly homologous individual ones WDV. We propose that mRNA splicing common feature all Gramineae might contribute their host class specificity. existence functional novel finding plant viruses.
