摘要: Objectives To prospectively evaluate, as part of an ongoing randomized pilot trial, the clinical outcomes two-piece zirconia implants in comparison with titanium 80 months after delivery all-ceramic (lithium disilicate) single-tooth restorations. Material and methods The original sample included 31 (16 15 titanium) 22 healthy patients. In addition to evaluating implant survival success, a number or radiographic parameters were statistically analyzed: plaque index (PI), bleeding on probing (BOP), pink esthetic score (PES), marginal bone loss (MBL). Both groups compared using Mann-Whitney U test. Results Three (2 1 had been lost, so that 28 (14 14 21 patients could be evaluated mean 80.9 (SD: 5.5) months. All surviving remained stable, absence any fixture abutment fractures without chipping, fracture, debonding crowns. associated PI values 11.07% 8.11) 15.20% 15.58), respective figures for other being 16.43% 6.16) 12.60% 7.66) BOP; 11.11 1.27) 11.56 1.01) PES; 1.38 mm 0.81) 1.17 0.73) MBL. Conclusions No significant differences found between based aforementioned service. Our results should interpreted limited size mind.
