摘要: In the rat, postoperative inhibition of gastrointestinal propulsion has been found to be accompanied by increased synthesis norepinephrine from 14C-tyrosine. Endogenous stores were not significantly modified. this study, peripheral sympathetic response abdominal surgery was further examined blocking with α-methyl-p-tyrosine (αMPT). The rate decline tissue taken as an index local adrenergic activity. Twelve hours after intestinal exteriorization, αMPT-induced decrease in digestive tract more profound than unoperated rats. This difference observed heart. Histofluorescence studies showed that neither nor αMPT treatment modified distribution gut wall. operated αMPT-treated animals, there a dramatic intensity fluorescence noradrenergic nerves Auerbach plexus, Meissner and circular muscle. perivascular unaltered. between myenteric plexus relation depletion is probably due rapid turnover catecholamine plexus. It concluded manipulations increase both release hyperactivity could account for ileus man.
