摘要: Electrical spiking activity of the duodenum and jejunum was recorded from chronically implanted electrodes in rats during volatile or barbiturate anesthesia following laparotomy. The normal pattern electrical fasted rat, with myoelectric complexes at 15-min intervals, transiently replaced by quiescence ethyl ether anesthesia. A slight increase irregular occurred after induction pentobarbital, only effect thiopental a reduction velocity propagation 20%. Under anesthesia, incision skin did not inhibit activity, but each abdominal muscle layer had an immediate transient inhibitory effect; deeper layer, longer inhibition. Peritoneal consistently produced inhibition which prolonged exposure bowel to air intestine handling. effects surgery persisted vagotomy transection spinal cord thoracic level disappeared splanchnicectomy. above results suggest that somatovegetative reflex efferent pathways splanchnic nerves is involved first stage operative intestinal complexes.
