摘要: Lacrimal glands (LG) possess both transient and stationary lymphocyte populations, distinct from those in peripheral lymphoid sites, which regulate effect humoral cell-mediated immune responses contributing to the protection of ocular surfaces.1,2 Further, lacrimal are sites lymphocytic infiltration inflammatory disorders such as Sjogren’s syndrome. Earlier work has established that rat gland lymphocytes display a phenotypic profile compared nonmucosal tissues.3,4 Of particular interest is presence expressing Thy-1, which, rat, found on immature B T bone marrow thymus5,6 well their recently released progeny periphery. The Thy-1 molecule lost with increasing maturity.7,8 In case cells, developmental stages, including recent thymic emigrants (RTE), mature common cells (CPT), activated have encountered antigen, can be identified basis size expression CD45RC.7,8
