摘要: Biopsy-proven infection-negative myocarditis may be an isolated autoimmune process or it occur in the context of systemic immune-mediated diseases. It resolve spontaneously, relapse progress to end-stage heart failure with without concomitant life-threatening arrhythmia, leading sudden cardiac death. By definition, disease is treated immunomodulation and/or immunosuppressive treatment (IT). In this chapter we deal general definition and basic principles IT, preparatory patient workup (Safety Checklist) IT candidates acute (AM)/dilated cardiomyopathy (DCM), traditional innovative regimens AM/DCM, follow-up therapeutic education (TPE) self-management.
