摘要: Abstract This review specifically examines the various roles of supplementation branched chain amino acids (BCAA) in general and leucine particular. These have been shown to variable effects under different experimental dietary conditions. The a special role nitrogen metabolism both fasting state when they provide brain with an energy source after feeding are extracted predominantly by muscle important as well nitrogen. Supplementation also affects tryptophan niacin pathway which further depends upon intake vitamin B 6 . Moreover, low protein diet has be catabolic while adequate it promote growth. Branched used treatment certain states. Besides, affect secretion prolactin insulin. data suggest that BCAA not only act precursors for several metabolic reactions but biochemical regulators.
