摘要: As accelerated pavement testing (APT) devices emerge as possible candidates for a supplemental performance test, questions related to the ability assess resistance of hot mix asphalt permanent deformation under full-scale trafficking remain. Toward addressing this question, data collected several replacement sections at WesTrack were compared with test results mixtures fabricated in laboratory using materials and tested critical temperature deformation. The analyzer (APA) repeated simple shear constant height (RSST-CH) validated useful APT tools by comparing measured field predicted mixed-laboratory compacted specimens (in-place) air void contents. Test from APA RSST-CH showed good agreement downward rut depths trafficking. Based on statistical analysis, can be used adequate rutting performance. Rutting was also assessed determining expected number design equivalent single axial loads (ESALs) each section relationships between strain ESALs field. Both demonstrated differentiate poor
