摘要: ' I 'HE occurrence of a functioning islet-cell tumor -1- the pancreas in patient with diabetes mellitus is an exceedingly rare phenomenon. We have recently studied who demonstrated gradual amelioration over period nine years that finally culminated frank episodes spontaneous hypoglycemia. Laparotomy revealed large pancreas. Excision neoplasm afforded complete relief hypoglycemia and re-emergence diabetic state. The preoperative diagnosis insulinoma was complicated by coexistence diffuse liver disease.
