摘要: The original impetus for this study has been the urge a better understanding of human leukaemias, and need developing sensitive single cell assays to recognize individual leukaemic cells. In order achieve aim, more had be learned about normal types (so-called ‘normal equivalent’ cells) from which leukaemias originate (1). Terminal deoxynucleotidyl transferase (TdT) is one most useful markers in respect following reasons. First, TdT present vast majority acute lymphoblastic (ALL, ref.2,3); thus anti-TdT antibody, developed by Bollum (4), can used as “pointer” specifically cells (e.g. residual malignant treated patients) their counterparts. Second, being nuclear enzyme it convenient use antibody combinations with various antisera reacting membrane antigens. With help these combined surprisingly extensive phenotypic profiles assembled positive bone marrow (BM)and thymus. These studies represent overture will isolate further analyse functional characteristics development potential vitro.
