摘要: Although leukocytes from all 13 acute lymphoblastic leukemia patients examined had high terminal deoxynucleotidyl transferase (terminal transferase) activity (20 to 100 units/mg of cellular DNA, where 1 unit equals nmole nucleotide polymerized in hr) and those 21 myelocytic low (0.2 2 DNA), the bone marrow peripheral blood with leukemia, diagnosed on basis clinical features morphology, cytochemistry, cytogenetics leukemic cells, (39 52 DNA) equivalent that found lymphoblasts. These results bring under question specificity outside thymus as a marker for lymphoblasts and, secondarily, derivation cells cases thymocytes. Perhaps malignant transformation pleuripotent stem cell derepression genome could account observed certain cells.
