摘要: While previous studies of continuous emission drops from a faucet have shown the richness system's nonlinear response, theory dripping has heretofore been lacking. Long-time behavior is simulated computationally by tracking formation up to several hundred in sequence, rather than usual single drop, at given flow rate Q and verified experiments. As increases, system evolves period-1 through number period doubling (halving) bifurcations as ultimately gives way jetting. That hysteresis can occur also demonstrated.
