摘要: The diagnostic entity of clear cell carcinoma the lung (CCCL) is controversial, with many investigators arguing against its inclusion in World Health Organization classification carcinoma. Because rarity and questions regarding histogenesis, I studied 3 groups carcinomas immunohistochemical molecular assays, including 6 cases CCCL, 7 adenocarcinoma change, 11 squamous prominent change. CCCL tended to be present older individuals an immunophenotype (cytokeratin TTF1 positivity). Molecular analysis by Sanger sequencing revealed KRAS mutations 5 2 adenocarcinomas Although perhaps not a distinct pathologic entity, this pilot study, has similar solid-type change displays more frequent unusual than expected most lung.
