摘要: Introduction The Cloninger's Psychobiological Model of Temperament and Character includes temperamental dimensions such as reward dependence (RD) harm avoidance (HA). Studies RD differentiate between sensitivity to (SR) versus punishment (SP). We investigated the interrelationship HA in acutely ill patients with binge/purge (B/P) type eating disorders (EDs) following symptomatic stabilization. Methods Fifty B/P EDs were assessed at admission inpatient treatment, 36 whom reassessed discharge. Thirty-six controls similarly assessed. Participants completed Tridimensional Personality Questionnaire (TPQ), Sensitivity Punishment Reward (SPSRQ), took Gambling Task. Results Patients had higher TPQ-RD lower TPQ-HA accompanied by SPSRQ-SR SPSRQ-SP. SPSRQ-SP correlated positively negatively TPQ-RD, respectively. Conclusions Combination TPQ-HA, SPSRQ-SP, greater risk-taking inclination may maintain disordered EDs. Copyright © 2017 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd Eating Disorders Association.
