摘要: Glassy alloy rods with diameters up to 1.5 mm exhibiting a large supercooled liquid region before crystallization and high mechanical strength were formed in Cu-Zr Cu-Hf binary systems by the copper mold castingmethod. The exceeding 40 K was obtained composition range of 30 70 at%Zr 35 60 at%Hf. largest value defined difference between glass transition temperature (Tg) (T x ), ΔT (= T - Tg), 58 for Cu 6 0 Zr 4 59 5 Hf . reduced g /T 1 ) two alloys 0.61 0.59, respectively. above 50K into bulk glassy form casting. , exhibited fracture 1920, 1880, 2245 2260 MPa, respectively, Young's modulus 107, 102, 120 121 GPa, nearly constant elastic elongation about 1.9% plastic 2.2%. formation these can he interpreted framework concept unique structure consisting mainly icosahedral atomic configuration as similar that special multi-component three component rules.
