Preparation and properties of polystyrene incorporated with gold and silver nanoparticles for optoelectronic applications

摘要: In this paper, methyl-orange-doped polystyrene (PS) microspheres covered with gold and silver nanoparticles (NPs) have been synthesized. The optical structural properties of the porous films before after incorporation Au Ag were investigated using X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscope (SEM), atomic force (AFM), Fourier transformation infrared spectrophotometer (FT-IR), UV–Vis spectrophotometer. data showed that energy gap PS film was increased from 2 to 3.4 eV 3.5 eV being filled nanoparticles, respectively. electrical photoresponse Ag–PS/p-Si Au–PS/p-Si heterojunctions studied. rectification characteristics junction improved nanoparticle incorporation. results confirm presence two peaks response located at 450 900 nm. Au–PS/Si heterojunction gave best photosensitivity.
