摘要: Primordial odontogenic tumor (POT) is composed of variably cellular myxoid connective tissue, surrounded by cuboidal to columnar epithelium resembling the inner enamel organ, which often invaginates into underlying tissue. The delimited at least partially a thin fibrous capsule. It derives from early stages tooth development. Syndecan-1 heparan sulfate proteoglycan that has physiological role in several functions, including maintenance epithelial architecture, cell-to-cell adhesion and interaction cells with extracellular matrix, diverse growth factors, stimulating cell proliferation. Ki-67 considered gold standard as proliferation marker. aim this study was examine expression index POT normal germs better understand biological behavior tumor. Results showed more intensely expressed subepithelial mesenchymal areas POT, pattern resembles (4.1%) suggests slow growing late cap bell similar showing immunopositivity condensed areas. immunohistochemical findings population exhibited greater proliferative activity than central portion dental papilla.
