Molecular cloning of a PR-5 like protein gene from cherry tomato and analysis of the response of this gene to abiotic stresses.

摘要: LePR-5, a putative PR5 like protein gene was amplified from cherry tomato (Lycopersicon esculentum), which encodes precursor of 250 amino acid residues, and shares high degrees homology with number other genes. Expression LePR-5 in different organs analyzed Semi-quantitative RT–PCR, showing that expressed at levels leaves, stems, roots, flowers fruits. In addition, expression under abiotic stresses carried out time points. Three the four tested stimuli, ethophen, salicylic methyl jasmonate, triggered significant induction after treatment. However, weaker induced by abscisic than others. The positive responses to three stimuli suggested may play an important role response stresses, it also be involved plant defense system against pathogens. patterns between fruit seedling distinctive defensive protecting seedling.
