摘要: High Q Bragg resonators are studied for application to millimeter wave CARM oscillators driven by electron beams with power greater than 100 MW. ‘Whispering-gallery’ modes shown have the highest Q. The two effects that cause reflections, impedance mismatch owing variations in wall radius and currents walls of reflector sections, compete, paving way anomalously low Qs some other modes. effect resistance on operation cavity is studied; as frequency radiation increased near 250 GHz, heating severely limits average rating whispering-gallery devices.
