摘要: Release of inflammatory mediators by mast cells in type 1 immediate-hypersensitivity allergic reactions relies on antigen-dependent increases cytosolic calcium. Here, we used a series electron microscopy images to build 3D reconstruction representing slice through rat tumor cell, which then served as basis for stochastic modeling inositol-trisphosphate-mediated calcium responses. The approach was verified reaction-diffusion within the same geometry. Local proximity endoplasmic reticulum either plasma membrane or mitochondria is predicted differentially impact local inositol trisphosphate receptor transport. explicit consideration organelle spatial relationships represents an important step toward building comprehensive, realistic model cellular dynamics.
