摘要: A mathematical model of drug tolerance and its underlying theory is presented. The essentially more complex than the generally used homeostasis, which demonstrated to fail in describing development repeated administrations. assumes a repeatedly administered be result regulated adaptive process. oral detection analysis endogenous substances proposed primary stimulus for mechanism tolerance. Anticipation environmental cues are considered secondary stimuli, becoming only dependence addiction or when administration bypasses natural--oral--route, as case drugs intravenously. considers adaptation effect interval between taking autonomous processes. Simulations with demonstrate model's behaviour consistent important characteristics drugs: gradual decrease develops, high sensitivity small changes dose, rebound phenomenon large reactions following withdrawal dependence. different ways can accomplished, demonstrates practical applicability model.
