摘要: The release of strong acids by melting snows during the early thaw has a serious effect on ecology many sensitive areas world1–3. run off is product both input (wet and dry deposition) processes occurring within snow-pack firn melt season. Temperate glacial ice very pure4, having lost most its annual original solutes each season, analyses reported here ionic concentrations in snow, top 20 m an cap, indicate that ions are eluted differentially manner which initially accentuates loss sulphuric nitric acid. Almost all deposits glacier or cap may be single year.
