摘要: BACKGROUND The increase in the amount of extended spectrum beta-lactamases (ESBL)-producing gram-negative bacteria is seriously threatening human health recent years. Therefore, it necessary to develop a rapid and reliable method for identification ESBLs. purpose this study was establish novel discriminate between ESBL-producing non- by using matrix-assisted laser desorption/ionization time flight mass spectrometry (MALDI-TOF-MS) technique. MATERIAL/METHODS We detected hydrolyzed production cefotaxime after incubation with 69 MALDI-TOF-MS. Then we established genetic algorithm (GA), supervised neural networks (SNN), quick classifier (QC) models several peaks identify strains. To confirm clinical applicability established, blinded validation test performed 34 isolated RESULTS Using ClinPro Tools software, identified 4 (456 Da, 396 370 371 Da) spectra solution that have high enough specificity from Recognition capability were 97.5% 92.5% (QC), cross rates 90.15% 97.62 97.62% (QC). accuracy 82.4% 88.2% CONCLUSIONS Our results demonstrate ESBLs strains MALDI-TOF-MS has potential value could be widely used future as routine microbiology laboratories.
